Rana Begum participates in Whispers on the Horizon, the 14th Taipei Biennial at Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Taipei, Taiwan, curated by Sam Bardaouil and Till Fellrath.
Whispers on the Horizon explores the universal and deeply human theme of yearning—an emotion that spans time, geography, and culture. Set against Taiwan’s layered history of colonialism, identity shifts, and political transformation, the Biennial will trace longing not only through contemporary practices but also through historical works from the Taipei Fine Arts Museum collection and inspirations drawn from the National Palace Museum. The exhibition will frame yearning as an enduring force, existing in the space between memory and imagination.
The biennial is on view from 1 November 2025 through 29 March 2026.
