Farah Al Qasimi participates in ‘Estalo,’ the 14th Mercosul Biennial curated by Chief Curator Raphael Fonseca with adjunct curators Tiago Sant'Ana and Yina Jimenez Suriel, and assistant curator Fernanda Medeiros. The biennale is on view at multiple venues across Porto Alegre, Brasil, from 27 March until 1 June 2025.
‘Estalo’ is an invitation to inhabit the movement and the transformation from one state to another. A living being acts on the other through dance, sonic matters, drawing, painting, video, or installation; artists and works of art that are interested in "estalos" related to human beings and more than humans are gathered in the exhibition.
