Hassan Hajjaj'S solo exhibition ‘1447’ IS on view at Musée des Confluences – Dar El Bacha in Marrakech, Morocco, from 24 May until 12 October 2025.
Hajjaj invites viewers into an intimate, layered reflection on time, identity, and artistic process. Named after the current Islamic year, the title anchors the exhibition in a cultural and spiritual calendar that runs parallel to the Western one, offering an alternative rhythm and perspective through which one can view both the work and the world. For Hajjaj, 1447 is not only a temporal marker, it’s a personal timestamp, linking his present practice with the long arc of his creative and cultural journey.
The exhibition was organized by the artist and the National Foundation of Museums.
